MEh rELEaSE TEnSiON DEnGaN Aku….

It was a really2 exhausted,tiring & make me unable to sleep but it was a great experiences selected as participants for PTD assessment…even now after 2 days..i still feel tired..but cant deny ..mmg best la..

first time seat for an examination paper, i failed & i tried it for a second time and guess what..I flunk the exam!! not only me was selected for that assessment but my ex-classmate su, naim & fida also located at the same place INTAN WILAYAH TENGAH (INTENGAH)..a bit excited la but perasaan takut tu cannot be hide at all..sempat jugakla tanye2 to those who expererience this previously…thanks to naim for the tips,at least i knw what is it all about…

many of us are keen to get this post..y ar?tah la..tapi sure la ade sesuatu yang menarik..

Registration began at 9.00 till 11.00 am, during this 3 days we are only recognized by a number so no one will call you with your name..My lucky number was 68! naims No: 123 (nice number) & this sweet gurl sue no: 129 ..well tau tak total candidates is 130 she’s 2nd last sampai kat INTAN..tesengih2 la die mase register tu..hihih..while waiting for the rest of participants settle for registration, we are instructed to take a photo..wahwah!..amek gamba mmg pantang ….snap photo berlima2..aku dok tengah2..hihih..pastu we have seat for psychology test which is supposed to be start at 5.30 till 6.30,after that we went back to the hall & was given a short briefing regarding the whole session

there are several activities that we went though during this assessment…the assessment session were divided into 7 activities spanning across three days. All these activities were done in groups which all the participants is randomly select for each of activity. if not mistaken,each of the groups consists of 10 members mostly depending on the activities …

The first session started at 8.30 & guess what?i’m late…eiiiii!geram ni…awal2 da buat perangai ni..dah gelabah sangat..(erm..kater minah gelabah…hihih)without any salam i walked in to the class & everybody smile & starring at me..huh!geram ni..someone tegur ” kami semua tunggu cik dari tadi..”..errr..sorrry..i couldnt find the class..after that the facilitators start gave us short briefing …this first session they call it as Meeting Simulation, we are about conducting a meeting..Each members were given a small piece of paper to be randomly picked where the paper stated of character to be present

Our topic is about to discuss the further action to be taken for the flood victim..aku tak ingatla tajuk die..some sort of kene wat meeting la …ape tindakan yang kiter kene wat utk selamatkan mangsa banjir bagi 2 kg yang malang..anddddd…you know what?i am the last one who pick the piece of paper & my task is to conduct the meeting..Puan Pengarah..eiiii…lantakla..

Dengan gabranyer aku memulakan session..at the first place mmg rase mcm hampeh..actually mmg hampeh la..aku ni teruk tol la..isk!..pastu kan aku tersedar dari mimpi teruskan la watak tu dengan seadanaya la….erm…

After all the participants have presented their ideas,we have to make 1 concusion @decision for what is the next action to be taken...present it in paper & bla..bla…bla pastu balik umah…g cc jap cari bahan utk next task..balik tido…zzzzz

Next session pagi tu.. problem-solving games. Each group plays 4 games and try to solve each of the games.Each game has a 30 minutes duration. some sort macam IQ test jugakla tapi more practical, basically kitorang main 4 games but only 2 we find the solution the rest habuk…sengih je laaa…

after that, get ready for the next session, its a public speaking(pengucapan umum)…My title is ”Langkah² membasmi kemiskinan di Malaysia”..ade lagi la beberape tajuk yang orang lain dapat contohnyer:

* Kesan kenaikan harga minyak di Malaysia

*Langkah-langkah Meningkatkan Keselamatan Jalanraya

*Pengaruh ICT Dalam Membentuk Minda Remaja

ade la lagi tapi bnyk aku tak ingat..

erm move to the other session….It’s a fitness test!! A 2.4km run!!I was a 2nd lady yang abis di garisan penamat..tapi tak sure la orang keberape smpy tapi assume that masih dlm lingkungan ranking 10 ke bawah..ok la kan?..tapi penat macam haram..aku hampir mental down jugak sebab ujian fizikal ni ..bukan ape..im not a regular jog..stamina apetah lagi..ye la buzy keje smpai nak jog pun macam2 alasan di buat..so kepale tiba2 pening..tahan je la..dah la malam tu nak present lagi ..lucky la it was in a group…group discussion…sigh…

balik umah jap ..rest & tuka baju..

ok..sampailah waktu yang di tunngu…around 8.00 pm the session started..It’s a free flow discussion where group members sits in circle and discuss a topic given for about two hours. The topic was, Reality Programme :New era of entertainment. First 30 minutes we discuss it in English & after that the same topic continue in Malay version..This session mmg aku release tension tambah pulak aku tengah mmg stress..ya la..we can talk freely, like talking with friends.…so this time aku kene lagi la beb..2 kali aku di soal..pelik tol..nak kater aku tak bercakap aku rase aku ade jugak menyuarakan pandangan aku yang bernas..hihihih tapi facilitator tu tanyer aku..budak sebelah aku lagi tak sempat cakap ape asyik kene cantas..eiii..geram pun ade ni..!..takpe aku dulik ape..sekurang2 nyer die bagi chance kat aku utk bagi pandangan aku ni..hihii.best!..balik …g cc jap ..as usual la cari bahan..tibe umah kol 1 pagi..tido…zzzzzzzzzz

Public Speaking. same jugak macam pengucapaan awam but this time english version..My title is Environment..tapi mmg bukan nasib aku la..dapat specific tajuk..Nuclear threat..benci!Im not doing it well..so taknak citer..i think if im not selected for the next stage is becase of this part la..bosan gile!..

After That…………………..pagi tu

Debate.Ala2 debat parlimen gitu…dalam ni ade penyokong & pembangkang… Each member were then chose which parliament he/she wants to represent. aku pembangkang dari Kelana Jaya..hohoho…Tajuk yang di beri ”Disiplin pelajar bermula di rumah”. Each member will present their points for at most 2 minutes. After all members done, the 2nd session commence and this is where things get real hot. Shouting and table pounding FTW!aku suke this session la beb!..even i never experience the situation before but biase la kiter tgk dalam tv tu..dok pangkah orang ni..pangkah orang sana.so aku praktikkan la kat sini..best jugak!..rase macam tak caye aku la orangnyer yang begitu emosi sekali..maner taknyer nak pertahankan benang yang basah..mesti la nak menang kan?hukhuk!

huh…..akhirnyer abis jugak assessment..ade short briefing pasal PTD assessment ni…rase happy…seronok..enjoy & jugak sedih..tak dapat tk kisah at least aku cube..takyah teruja sangat..yela we are just in a 2nd stage …there’ll be an interview if you passed this assessment. by then only you’ll become one but to be confirmed into the position, you have to go to a 6 months diploma pengurusan awam course in INTAN bukit kiara. get the diploma, get confirmed, take the PTK exams, climb up all the way until you reach the JUSA status in the civil service as what they call it..but it was not easy ..those yang dah berkhidmat more than 20years pun belum ke tahap dewa-dewa tu..of course la the ranking is just like a pyramid,more higher less people selected..susah kan? but not impossible u can be on the top one day..who know?

Guys outside there..those who yet to experience attending PTD assessment here are some overview ..this is based on my last experiences la..
